About
I’m a visual artist working primarily with watercolor, ink, and charcoal.
My work begins with observation—often outdoors—and continues in the studio, where I focus on atmosphere, memory, and quiet presence, rather than strict representation.
I’m drawn to simple shapes, strong value relationships, and the way light and weather soften the edges of a place.
Rather than describing a location precisely, I leave room for interpretation, allowing each viewer to bring their own experience to the image.
After years spent focused on other creative work, I returned to painting during the COVID-19 pandemic and have since built a sustained studio practice through study, mentorship, and daily observation.
I currently divide my time between painting outdoors and developing work in the studio.
Ongoing projects explore city scenes, industrial edges, and rural landscapes, with an emphasis on mood over detail.
I hope the work offers a moment of stillness and a place for personal reflection.
